Venerated Jamaican vocal trio who were led by Carlton Manning, elder brother of Donald and Linford, who later sang with the Abyssinians. Singles "This Feeling', "Love Is A Treasure', "Love Me Forever', and "Happy Land' for Studio One '68, not issued on LP until Love Me Forever late '70s, with previously unreleased material from the same period. As The Carltons they also made "Better Days' early '70s for Lee Perry; Manning resurfaced late '70s, as Carlton and the Shoes prod. LP This Heart Of Mine providing his own backup vocals. Self-prod. singles "What A Day', "Forever And Always', Studio One title "Let Me Love You' also appeared; then he disappeared again.
