(b 22 May '48, Tempe AZ) Country singer, son of Buck and Bonnie Owens, rarely out of the country charts late '60s- early '70s. His father acted as manager and record producer for guidance and success. Signed to Capitol '68, biggest hit "Let The World Keep On A Turnin'' (duet with Buck) top 10 that year. Another duet hit with "Too Old To Cut The Mustard' '71 and solo success with "Cowboy Convention' '70. Toured with his father, but hits stopped coming '75.
