(b 6 Dec. '40, Rochester NY) Singer. Forsook medical career for music, forming The Redcoats at Miami U. late '50s. Worked on American Bandstand; then for Miami record distributor while performing locally at night. Biggest hit: "Everyday I Have To Cry Some', made USA top 50 in '63. Had 8 other minor hits by '72, but gave up performing for production, usually working with black artists.
