The first two also entered the pop charts and album Birds Of A Feather charted. Named vocal duo of the year by Billboard, Cashbox and Record World; they received an ASCAP award and later BMI citations. They never had another year as good as 1970 but remained a popular act with singles and albums in various charts: they also did comedy and TV spots and wrote hits for others; Jack also did a newspaper column and a comic strip. |
