She sang 'Charleston' in the show Runnin' Wild in 1923, appeared in Chocolate Dandies '24, went to Paris with Blackbirds '29; settled in London '33, appearing in Nymph Errant that year, which she revived for a concert performance '89. She appeared in British films and in many shows through '73 and became a much-loved cabaret artist.
