(b 13 Aug. '62, London, England) Guitar, vocoder, electronics, composer. First heard with UK flautist Phil Bent's band, then in highly regarded Desperately Seeking Fusion. Own bands incl. the world-music-influenced Lateral Thinking, crowd-pleasing funk outfit the Tony Remy Band, dispensing exuberant but thoughtful jazz funk also to be found on debut album Boof! '94 on GRP. Remy released Metamorfollow-g on his own Alltone label '97.
