Appeared on local TV Hi-Varieties show '64, the Old Kentucky Barn Dance '57-9, CBS's Saturday Night Country Style '58; signed to Sabre, Fraternity labels '63-4 without success, UA '64: country top 10 with "How Long Has It Been' '66, his best showing though he continued to chart, label-hopping in '70s through "She's Been Keeping Me Up Nights' '79 on Capricorn.
